Key considerations

The need for a certificate, declaration or state registration certificate depends on the product and destination market. There is no universal “Wildberries certificate” created by the marketplace’s name.

For textiles, intended use and user age matter; for toys, category and design; for electrical goods, ratings and operating modes. Where mandatory conformity assessment does not apply, the basis must first be checked before deciding whether an explanatory letter is useful.

When completing a listing, select the correct document type and enter its valid number. Models, manufacturer and goods in the listing must match the document’s scope. Voluntary certification does not replace mandatory documentation.
