What we assess

We verify laboratory accreditation scope and method suitability, then agree sampling, quantities and preparation. A report describes the samples tested and their results; coverage of other models is assessed separately.

What to prepare

  • Product description and models
  • Applicable standard or testing objective
  • Samples and available reports

What you receive

A test programme, agreed samples and support in receiving and reviewing reports.

Laboratory, samples and report suitability

Testing is selected for the intended document and product characteristics. Before sample transfer, we check laboratory scope, methods, sample quantities and selection conditions. A register entry does not mean a laboratory is accredited for every test.

We check sample identity, methods, results and model coverage in the report. Material or design changes may require further testing. Cost depends on the programme, sample preparation and logistics, not just the product name.

Service questions

Can we simply choose the cheapest laboratory?

First establish that its scope and methods fit the procedure, then compare commercial terms.

How many samples are needed?

Quantities depend on the programme and destructive methods; agree them before dispatch.
