What we assess

We clarify the instrument’s use, type, serial number, range and verification interval, then check state metrological-control requirements and provider authorisation. Verification and calibration serve different purposes and are not automatically interchangeable.

What to prepare

  • Type, model and serial number
  • Range and accuracy class
  • Passport and previous verification results

What you receive

An agreed provider and instrument-transfer process, with support in obtaining verification results.

Checks before instrument verification

Review the instrument type, serial number, range, applicable method and operating conditions. Verification and calibration serve different purposes; the correct procedure depends on the use of the measurements and applicable requirements.

Prepare the passport, previous verification information, accessories and access to the instrument. Disclose repairs, adjustments or prolonged storage before transfer. A non-compliant instrument cannot receive a positive verification result.
